Biography

Dr. Gamal Abdalla Elbadri Elbadri is a Professor of Biology majoring in nematology, working at the University of Bisha, Faculty of Sciences, Department of Biology. He obtained his first MSc (1991) from the University of New Castle Upon Tyne, UK, Department of agriculture and environmental sciences specializing in crop protection technology. His Second MSc (1997) was from the University of Gent, Belgium in Nematological Sciences, and his Ph.D. (2000) as well from Gent University, Belgium in Nematological sciences. His Post-Doc was from Gyeongsang National University, Korea (South), in 2007. He is a member of 17 national and international organizations and a member of the editorial committee in 5 National and International Scientific Journals.


Research Interest

Prof Elbadri is interested in fields of research are Biocontrol control of insects using Entomopathogenic nematodes. Classical and molecular taxonomy of nematodes. Control of nematodes and insects using Herbal extracts.
