Dr.Sirajunnisa Abdul Razack is a Research Scientist in the Research Center for Marine Integrated Bionics Technology, Department of Biomedical Engineering, Pukyong National University, South Korea. She had secured her doctoral degree from Annamalai University, India, Master's degree in Biotechnology from Sathyabama University, India (M.Tech.) and PSG College of Arts and Science, Bharathiyar University (M.Sc.) and, Bachelor's degree in Microbiology from PSG College of Arts and Science, Bharathiyar University, India. She had been a Post-Doctoral Fellow in the Center for Biotechnology, Anna University to work on Biodiesel production and at the Department of Biochemistry, Chulalongkorn University, Thailand to work on pesticide degradation.
Dr.Sirajunnisa Abdul Razack is focusing on wound dressing with low-level laser therapy and is interested in creating patches with essential oils for diabetes ulcer healing. Her research includes food packaging material from bioresources, identifying bioindicators for long food shelf life, synthesis and use of nanomaterials for biological and environmental applications, and, biodiesel production.
