Dr. Mohamed El Adel is an assistant lecturer in the Department of Cardiothoracic Surgery at Assiut University, Egypt. He obtained a Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery at the Faculty of Medicine, Assiut University, Egypt. He earned a Master of Surgery at Assiut University, Egypt. He has been awarded a cardiac surgery fellowship in Aswan Heart Centre (Magdi Yacoub Heart Foundation) in 2020. Now, he is a Ph.D. candidate in the field of Cardiothoracic Surgery at the same University.

Dr. Mohamed El Adel is interested in fields of research that are adult cardiac surgery, thoracic surgery, and congenital cardiac surgery. His present research focuses on minimally invasive cardiac surgery.
