Biography

Dr. Christopher Mutai, ph.D; Part-time Lecturer, Masinde Muliro University of Science and Technology (MMUST).Kenya. His academic Qualifications are B. Ed Hons. (Moi University) M. Sc (MMUST) Ph. D candidate (MMUST). Employment: 2005-Present:A teacher of English Language and Literature in English in the Kenya Education System at the secondary school level. 2015-Present:Part time Lecturer in the Department of Emergency Management Studies, MMUST. An instructor in areas of HIV and AIDS Prevention and Management skills, units in Emergency Management Studies department as well as that of Peace and Conflict Studies. 2015-Present: Online Instructor in the Department of Emergency Management Studies, MMUST.


Research Interest

Dr. Christopher Mutai's research interests are teaching, mentoring and researching problems afflicting the vulnerable, especially HIV and AIDS and Drug Abuse among the youth as evident in the latest publication on ‘Public Health in Urban Spaces. Vulnerability of Youth to Drug Abuse in Nairobi’s Mukuru Kwa Njenga Informal Settlements, Kenya.’
