Dr. George Gyamfi-Brobbey is a Clinical Scientist at the Vaccine Evaluation Unit at the UKHSA, UK. He obtained his Bachelor of Science degree in Biomedical Sciences at the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology, Kumasi, Ghana, and a Master of Science in Biomedical Sciences – Clinical Microbiology and Bioinformatics in Medicine at The University of Westminster, London, UK. He also earned his Ph.D. in Biomedical Science Molecular Microbiology at The University of Westminster, London, UK. George is a State Registered Biomedical Scientist and a Clinical Scientist. He is a member of a few professional bodies including the Microbiology Society, UK, British Infections Association (BIA), UK, Federation of European Microbiological Societies (FEMS), Royal College of Pathology, UK, and Fellow of the Institute of Biomedical Science (IBMS), UK.
Dr. Gyamfi-Brobbey’s research interests include Biofilms, Microbial Metabolism and Physiology, Quorum sensing, and Persister cells. His present research interest is on emerging diseases, vaccines, and vaccinology.
