Dr. Ammar Alkattan is an M.D., CABS, Consultant of General Surgery and Emergency Medicine, is a graduate from Tishreen University, Tishreen Medical School, Syria. He is a Specialist in General and Acute Care Surgery at Hamad Medical Corporation, Qatar. He worked as Consultant of General and Hepatobiliary Surgery, Liver Transplantation Program Director, and Senior Trainer of Medical School Student at Damascus Hospital, Syria. He worked as a Fellow of Hepatobiliary and Liver Transplantation Surgery in Baskent University’s Hospital, Ankara. He is a regular speaker of the Syrian Medical Syndicate’s Annual Congress. He is the Scientific Referee of the Syrian Emergency Medicine Association. He is a Member of MESOT, ESOT, PALTS, and TTS. He is an author of many National Publications on Clinical Surgery. Now his degree is Consultant of General Surgery and Emergency Medicine.

Dr. Ammar Alkattan's research interests are in the fields of Experimental Study, Emergency Medicine, Acute Care Surgery, Hepatobiliary Surgery, and Liver Transplantation.
