Dr.Nihal Dogan is a professor in the department of Microbiology in Eskisehir Osmangazi University Medical Faculty. She obtained a Bachelor of Science in Parasitology (Toxoplasma gondii diagnosis) at Anadolu University in Eskisehir/Turkey. She earned a Ph.D. same university. She member of the association of Turkish Parasitology society and Microbiology Society and also Hydatology.

Prof. Dr. Nihal Doğan is interested in fields of research that are intestinal parasites, Toxoplasma gondii, Hydatic cyst, free-living amoeba, blood and tissue parasites. His present study is Hydatic cyst seroprevalence in human and dog and intestinal parasites.
