Dr. Pradeep Raj Regmi, MD Radiodiagnosis, is a fresh, young, and dynamic radiologist. Currently working as a General/Pediatric Radiologist in the Department of Radiology and Imaging, HAMS Hospital. With the belief that treatment and cure of the patient is a multi-specialty and holistic task, started working in the HAMS super-speciality hospital since its commencement in April 2018. He completed his MBBS in 2013 from Maharajgunj Medical Campus, Tribhuvan University teaching hospital, Maharajgunj Kathmandu. Then, with an interest in radiology, he opted for MD Radiodiagnosis. He completed his master's from the Institute of Medicine, Tribhuvan University Teaching Hospital (IOM, TUTH), and was awarded Professor Tanka Bahadur Budhathoki Gold Medal from Tribhuvan University in 2018. He was awarded 1-year international fellowship on Pediatric Imaging from the European School of Radiology (ESOR) in 2018/19. He is an active full member of Nepal Medical Council (NMC), Nepal Radiologists’ Association (NRA), Radiological Society of North America (RSNA), European Society of Radiology (ESR), European Society of Neuroradiology (ESNR), and Society of Pediatric Imaging (SPR). He is also a co-author of a book IOMites essentials for the Nepal Medical Licensing Exam (NMCLE) in 2012. He has worked as a General Secretary for Nepal Medical Students’ Society (NMSS), Regional chairperson of Asian Medical Students Association (AMSA) as well as vice-president of Universities Allied for Essential Medicine (UAEM), and participated in various international conferences. As an outdoor sports-loving person, his hobby is playing football, cricket, and listening to music.
Dr. Pradeep Raj Regmi has special interests in Fetal/Neonatal/Pediatric Imaging as well as Research in Imaging. He presented in the Asian Oceanic Congress of Radiology (AOCR) on the topic “Imaging of Vein of Galen malformation in late trimester”. He was selected for the poster presentation on the topic “Papillary carcinoma in children, Rare but aggressive” in International Pediatric Radiology (IPR) Congress 2021 on October 2021 in Milan, Italy. He recently completed European Course on Pediatric Neuroradiology and Musculoskeletal Imaging. He is a reviewer of the RSNA case collection on the Pediatric section since 2019. He is also currently working as a reviewer for the Nepal Health Research Council (NHRC), Journal of Karnali Academy of Health Sciences (JKAHS), and Journal of Institute of Medicine (JIOM). He has published more than 25 publications on radiology and has special interests in research in the field of radiology.
