Dr. Sindhu Joseph is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Travel and Tourism Management in GPM Government college under Kannur University, India. She obtained a Bachelor of Tourism and Travel Management at the University of Calicut, India, and a Master of Tourism Management at Madurai Kamaraj University, Tamil Nādu, India. She earned a Ph.D. in Management Studies at Mahatma Gandhi University, India. She is the Head of the Department of Travel and Tourism Management and Chairperson of the Board of Studies in Tourism Management at Kannur University. She is a research supervisor in Management Faculty at Kannur University. She holds membership in many academic bodies in various universities.

Dr. Sindhu Joseph is interested in the fields of research that are Public Health, Sustainable Development and Certification, Geriatric Care, and Tourism Management. Her present research focuses on tourism destination development, women empowerment, sustainable development, and Carrying capacity Assessment.
