Dr. Mauro G. Ravizzais a M.D. graduated in Turin in 1981. He worked for Italian National Health System first as an Internal Medicine Practitioner and from 1997 as a Gastroenterologist in several Hospitals in Piedmont (Italy): Torre Pellice, Rivoli, San Giovanni Battista, and Maggiore in Turin, Valdese, and finally Martini Hospital in Turin. Retired in 2018, actually, he works as a consultant private practitioner in Gastroenterology for Policlinico di Monza in Biella and Cancer Research and Treatment Institute in Candiolo. He actively took part in over 50 published papers and to over 200 Gastroenterology Congresses as participants or speakers.

Dr. Ravizza's main fields of interest during his practice are: Endoscopy, cancer diagnosis, and treatment, Helicobacter Pylori infection, Inflammatory Bowel Disease diagnosis and treatment, intestinal microbiota.
