Biography

Dr. Busi Ernest Neba is a Lecturer in the Department of Educational Psychology of the University of Buea, Cameroon. He was first a Grade One Teacher after graduation from the Government Teacher Training College. Before lecturing in the University, he was a primary school teacher. He obtained a Ph.D. in Educational Psychology. He is a lecturer of psychology. He has taught at the University of Buea for five years. He is a mentor to many undergraduate students and post-graduate students of the Faculty of Education and Department of Educational Psychology, and also the entire University, as he teaches Civics and Ethics which is a major university requirement. He has supervised more than 50 students in research at the level of undergraduate and a Master's student at St. Monica University. He also teaches Distance Education at the University of Buea, especially psychology courses. He has taught more than 6 courses in Clinical Psychology in a private University called St Monica Higher Institute mentored by Douala University. He is a member of the Cameroon Psychological Association, a member of the Cameroon Psychological Society. He has published more than 10 articles in well renowned international journals with his Master’s thesis published as a book by a well-renowned journal ‘Generis Publishing’. A trained primary school teacher to a University Lecturer. Dr. Busi is a political analyst and a psychosocial analyst in local television houses and radio houses in Cameroon like Equinox tv, Hi tv, Stv, My media prime, Media Afrique, Afrique media, CMTV, LTM, etc. He is a lover of research, tourism.


Research Interest

Dr. Busi Ernest Neba's research interest is in the area of applied cognitive psychology, positive psychology, developmental psychology, especially with mental health, resilience, trauma, psychosocial healing, and human agency.
