Dr. Ozan Emre EYUPOGLU is an Assistant Professor at Istanbul Medipol University, School of Pharmacy. He is the Head of the Department of Basic Pharmaceutical Sciences and the Head of the Department of Biochemistry. He received his Ph.D. from Karadeniz Technical University, Institute of Science, Chemistry (Biochemistry) in 2017. He has published numerous research articles in well-known journals and given international conferences on chromatographic analyses and antioxidant activities of medicinal plants. He plans studies for processing biochemical data for disease diagnosis. He is an interdisciplinary scientist specializing in developing online chromatographic methods. There are 2 national patents, 1 international patent and 1 utility model related to a medical product and a herbal formulation. He advised 2 master's candidates who did thesis on the coagulation system and aromatherapy, and now has 3 doctorate studies on the nanotechnological applications of drugs and herbal extracts, and 1 doctorate working on the toxicology of bee products. As an editor and referee in many national and international journals, Dr. EYUPOGLU is an Associate member of the European Materials Modelling Council and received the 2020 International Young Scientist Award in Engineering, Science, and Medicine from the International VDGOOD Technology Company and the 2022 International Best Researcher Award in INSO (International Scientist Awards on Engineering, Science and Medicine).
