I am currently a Neurosurgical Fellow in Paediatric Neurosurgery at Alder Hey Children’s Hospital. Prior to this, I have also completed a Neurosurgical Fellow in Paediatric Neurosurgery at Sheffield Children’s Hospital. I was a Locum Consultant Neurosurgeon at Agia Sophia Children’s Hospital in Athens (Greece), from March 2018 to November 2019. I have a Certificate of Completion of Training in Neurosurgery (CCT) since 2017. My PhD thesis title is “In vivo application of neuroprotective agents in rat’s sciatic nerve, after ischemia/reperfusion injury and evaluation of the results by histochemical methods”. I have also completed a White Matter Dissection course, a Neurosurgical Anatomy Course and a ATLS course.
My research interest is Neurosurgery, with a special interest in Paediatrics. I have published so far 12 papers in peer-reviewed journals and presented multiple projects at National and International Conferences.
