Biography

Dr. Zsolt Becskei is an Assistant Professor at the Department of Animal Breeding and Genetics, Faculty of Veterinary Medicine at the University of Belgrade, Serbia. He graduated veterinary medicine in 2003 at the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, the University of Belgrade, where he continued with his postgraduate studies and got the title of magister of veterinary sciences (Mr. Sci.) in 2008 and the Ph.D. in 2012. In the period between 2004 and 2011, he worked at the governmental Veterinary Specialist Institute Subotica. He is employed at the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, Department of Animal Breeding and Genetics since 2011.

Dr. Zsolt Becskei's research interests are Animal breeding and genetics, Autochthonous endangered breeds of livestock, Biotechnology, Veterinary pathology, Added value animal products.
