Biography

Dr. Asem Surindro Singh serves as a Senior Research Specialist at the University of Cincinnati, Department of Neurology & Rehabilitation Medicine, Cincinnati, Ohio USA. His current research focuses on understanding the pathophysiology of sickle cell disease and finding drugs for the treatment of the disease, in the mouse model system. He also has great experience working with case-control and family-based designed studies, in human subjects, in finding the risk genes for autism spectrum disorders.


Research Interest

Dr. Singh's research interests include finding the risk genetic factors and molecular mechanisms towards understanding disease pathophysiology and finding target sites of drugs for the treatment of the disease.
