I, Dr. Dharmagat Bhattarai is a lecturer in the Department of Pediatrics in Advanced Pediatrics Centre at Postgraduate Institute of Medical Education and Research (PGIMER), Chandigarh, India. I am a Doctor of Medicine (MD, Pediatrics) and Doctorate of Medicine (DM/Ph.D.) in Pediatric Immunology and Rheumatology from PGIMER, India with 60% marks and MBBS (Bachelor in Medicine and Bachelor in Surgery) from the University of Calcutta with 67% marks and have a 13 years experience in the medical field and 7 years experience as a pediatrician. I have worked for 1 year each in patan and Manmohan Hospital, 1 year in Alka Hospital, and 6 years in PGIMER Chandigarh. Generally, I have been also working as a pediatric immunologist and rheumatologist as a lecturer and resident supervisor, where residents are getting their practical skills. I have had training on essential medical life supports, immunology diagnostics, and bone marrow transplantation, Basic computer skills, IMNCI (Integrated Management of Newborn and Childhood illness), safe injection practice, safe abortion, allergy, immunology, TB, and HIV/AIDS, and effective teaching methodology and others listed below. The immunology and rheumatology training helped me to look at the ways of clinical and diagnostic ways, prioritization and implementations strategies to improve diagnostic and therapeutic services in the country.
Dr. Dharmagat Bhattarai's research interests are Pediatrics, immunology, and rheumatology-related articles. I have published more than 35 papers in reputed international and national PUBMED indexed journals. I participated in different qualitative and quantitative research.
