He was a full time Lecturer, Researcher, Research advisor at University of Jigjiga, Departments of Animal & Range Sciences, Plant Science, and Crop Production & Protection, College of Dryland Agriculture and Natural Resource, Somali Regional State, Ethiopia from 2010-2017. On his stay, he acted as a member of Research Committee Group for evaluation of the ongoing and newly proposed research projects at College and Departmental level.
