Dr. Jessie James is a nursing assistant professor at the University of Buraimi, Oman, handling both theoretical and clinical areas, it is in both areas where his research interest sparks. He values nursing student’s experience, their overwhelming reaction of anticipation and hesitation towards learning, assessing, and assisting patients’ needs, he believes that such phenomena need documentation for reflection, learning, and motivation. He finds teaching and nursing l experiences are platforms for improving knowledge, skills, and sort of looking forward to self-efficacy. His research project courses lead him to understand the communication challenges that face his students and work with them to fill this gap. These professional relationships with research students lead to some student-teacher research collaboration presented in conferences done in Oman and the nearby UAE.
