Biography

Dr. Abdulkarim Jafar Karim is an Associated Professor and served as a Coordinator, Head of Department, and Deputy Dean during his work in the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, University of Baghdad, Baghdad, Iraq. He graduated in 1982 with BVM&S from the same college. He did MSc in Veterinary Medicine (same Academy, 1988) and a Ph.D. in Veterinary Pathology from the University of Putra Malaysia, Malaysia, in 2010. He was responsible for teaching many subjects during his academic job, including Pathology, Zoonotic Diseases, Ethics, and Clinics for Undergraduates as well as Postgraduate students. He was an Associate Professor in the doctoral and master programs of Veterinary Sciences, University of Baghdad, Iraq. His area of research focuses on Zoonotic Diseases, Veterinary Medicine, and Pathology due to Air Pollution.

Dr. Abdulkarim Jafar Karim's research interests include Systematic effects of air pollution; Zoonotic Diseases; Epidemiology of endemic diseases; Veterinary Medicine; Veterinary Pathology.
