I (Umer Seid Geletu) Was Born on August, 7 in 1992 (G.C) In Oromia Regional State, East Hararge Zone, Kersa Wereda, weter Kebele from my Mother Fatuma Abdulkarim and Father Seid Geletu. I Attended my Primary Education at Weter Firdows Primary Schools, Weter. Then After, I Joined Weter Secondary School to attend my secondary education. Then I attended Haramaya preparatory school in 2007 then join Wollega University (2009), then graduated by Veterinary Medicine in June 2015. Then I have been employed at Haramaya University on October 25, 2015, as a lecture; and worked for one year at Haramaya university; then He joined Oda Bultum University in 2016. After work for two years, I joined the postgraduate program at Addis Ababa University, college of veterinary medicine and agriculture, department of microbiology in 2017 then graduated in 2019 with a Master of Science in Veterinary Microbiology. Right now, I’m working at Oda Bultum University as an assistant professor.

Dr. Umer Seid Geletu's research interests are Immunobiology, Gene expression, and bioinformatics; Molecular Biology.
