Biography

Dr. Neudson Johnson Martinho is a Professor at the Department of Basic Health Sciences at the Faculty of Medicine of the Federal University of Mato Grosso (UFMT)/Brazil. He obtained a bachelor’s and Licentiate in Nursing from the University of Fortaleza (UNIFOR) and Management in Higher Education from the Federal University of Ceará (UFC). Master's in Community Health Nursing at the Federal University of Ceará (UFC), Brazil. He obtained a Ph.D. in Education from the Federal University of Mato Grosso (UFMT), Brazil. He is President of the Ethics Committee in Research on Human Beings / Health at UFMT. Member of the Brazilian Association of Medical Education (ABEM). Member of the Editorial Board of Editora da UFMT. He is Coordinator/Leader of the Interprofessional Research Group in Education and Health Technologies (PINEDUTS) at UFMT. Member of the Commission for Permanent Education in Health at UFMT. Member of the Teaching and Service Integration Commission – CIES of the Mato Grosso State Health Department.


Research Interest

Prof. Neudson Johnson Martinho's interests are Health Education; Primary Health Care; Curriculum in the health area; Health Policies and Management; Interprofessionality in health; Education and Interprofessional Work. His current research focuses on the development of Social Technology to Support Informal Caregivers of Persons Victims of Stroke - Interprofessional Health Education Actions. He is also currently developing research on Interprofessional Health Education Actions to expand leprosy prevention through early detection.
