Dr. Vijay. K is an Assistant Professor of the Department of Veterinary Physiology and Biochemistry in Veterinary College and Research Institute, Udumalpet under Tamil Nadu Veterinary and Animal Science University (TANUVAS), Tamil Nadu, India. He is a graduate in Veterinary Science and Animal Husbandry, (TANUVAS, India) 2011. He did his Master’s In Veterinary Biochemistry (Same Academy, 2014) with submission of Thesis titled ‘Anti-Diabetic effects of Vanadium Pentoxide and Nano Vanadium Pentoxide in experimentally induce diabetic rats’. He was a junior researcher in the Laboratory animal medicine unit, Centre for Animal Health Studies, Tanuvas, Tamil Nadu, India from 2014-2016. He successfully completed the Certificate course in Laboratory Animal Sciences, 2016 (FELASA accredited). He was a Regional Technical and Training Manager in Boehringer Ingelheim India Pvt Ltd., Mumbai, India, 2016-2018. He was a Veterinary Assistant Surgeon in the Tamil Nadu Animal Husbandry Department, 2018-2020. From 2021, January onwards and currently, he is an assistant professor in the department of veterinary Physiology and Biochemistry in Veterinary College and Research Institute, udumalpet under Tamil Nadu Veterinary and Animal Science University (TANUVAS), Tamil Nadu, India.
Dr. Vijay. K's research interests are Toxicological studies; Endocrine disorder and antioxidant analysis; Lab animal Health Monitoring; Molecular Diagnostics; Virology and Serological studies; Tissue Culture and Vaccine production.
