Dr. Gennadiy Fonar is a Postdoctoral Fellow at the Department of Neurosurgery University of Pennsylvania, USA. He obtained a Bachelor of Science in Biology at Technion- Isreal Institute of Technology. He earned his Master of Science and Ph.D. at The Faculty of Medicine, Bar Ilan University, Israel. He has been awarded an Award of distinction for Ph.D. students. Epstein-Australia Foundation in 2016. He received Edmond and Lily Safra Center for Brain Sciences Postdoctoral Fellowship in 2018.
Dr. Gennadiy Fonar Is interested in the research of neurodegenerative diseases, specifically Alzheimer’s Disease, with a focus on the development of novel therapeutic approaches. His present research focuses on establishing the amyloid-beta molecular mechanism of action in the context of diffuse axonal brain injury.
