Ms. Sphindile Magwaza has over 20 years of experience in public health. Ms. Magwaza provides technical assistance to the Ministry of Health at all levels of health care and civil society organizations to support the implementation of health policies. She has worked in South Africa and in the African region supporting the implementation of the universal test and treat policy to achieve UNAIDS country-specific 90-90-90 goals. Ms. Magwaza has supported programs or research funded by UK-AID, GTZ, USAID-PEPFAR, US-CDC, and Irish AID. to improve the quality of care and health outcomes. Ms. Magwaza has published several original peer-reviewed articles in leading cancer and HIV and reproductive health journals and presented at national and international conferences.
Ms. Magwaza's research interests are women's reproductive health, cancers-breast, cervical, ovarian, STIs, fertility, and pregnancy.
