Biography

Dr. Rahul Hajare is an Associate Professor in the Department of Food Science and Technology at the University of Pune. He obtained a Bachelor of Science in Pharmaceutical Science at University SGB, India, and a Master of Science in Science and Technology in Food at Nagpur University, He earned a Ph.D. in Science and Technology in Chemistry at VMRF.


Research Interest

Dr. Rahul Hajare's research interests are in the fields of Functional foods, Medicinal Chemistry and Quimioinformatic. His present research focuses on searching for bioactive compounds type polyphenols with pro/antioxidant activity to use as alternatives to treat human chronic diseases.
