Dr. M. Carmen Fernández Tijero, currently works as a Lecturer at the University of Valladolid, in the Department of Didactics of Language and Literature. Her expertise is teaching undergraduate education and philology students, and Philological and Education Ph.D. students. Her research has been published in Index de Enfermería Digital, ËA Journal as well as other educational area reviews and SPI books. She has presented as a guest speaker at local, regional, and international conferences and symposiums.

Dr. M. Carmen Fernández-Tijero’s research interests are span Teachers’ Training, Women in Science, STEAM education, nurses’ and teachers’ discourse.
