Dr. Mehmet Firat Baran gained his B.Sc and M.Sc degrees on Agricultural mechanization in Thrace University, Turkey in 1997 and 2000, respectively. He gained his Ph.D degree on Agricultural mechanization in Namik Kemal University, Turkey in 2010. He worked as a Research Assistant in Thrace University, Agricultural Faculty, and Agricultural Mechanization department. He worked as an engineer in Republic of Turkey Food, Agricultural and Livestock Ministry General Directorate of Agricultural Research and Policy for 13 years. Currently, he is working as an Assistant Professor in Adiyaman University, Faculty of Technology, and Department of Energy Systems Engineering. He has studied on energy usage in agriculture and agricultural mechanization and have many articles published in national and international journals about these subjects.
