Dr. P. Syam Sundar Reddy is presently working as Assistant Professor at Horticultural College & Research Institute (Dr. Y.S.R. Horticultural University), Anantharajupet, YSR dist, Andhra Pradesh, India. He obtained M.Sc (Agriculture) with specialization in Horticulture and Ph.D (Horticulture) from Acharya N.G. Ranga Agricultural University, Hyderabad, India. He has five years of experience in Agricultural extension service in Department of Agriculture, Andhra Pradesh and eight years of teaching experience in the field of Horticulture particularly the vegetable science subjects to the undergraduate (Horticulture) and post graduate (Horticulture) students. He presented research papers in many National seminars, symposia and reputed journals. He acted as reviewer for the Journal of Environmental Science and Pollution Research and Archives of Agronomy and Soil Science. Presently, he is the life member of Society for promotion of Horticulture, Bangalore, India. He has the experience in successfully guiding eight post graduate students in the field of vegetable science and seed spice research.
To develop a suitable package of practices for production of quality vegetables in drought hit Rayalaseema zone of Andhra Pradesh, India; To develop new technologies in seed spices production; Introduction of new varieties/hybrids in vegetable cultivation; Teaching with innovative technology.
