Dr. Sushant Handage is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Veterinary and Animal Husbandry Extension Education at Veterinary College Gadag (Karnataka, India) affiliated to the Karnataka Veterinary, Animal and Fisheries Sciences University, Bidar. He is a Graduate in Veterinary Science and Animal Husbandry from Veterinary College, Bangalore (Karnataka, India) 2008. He did a Master’s in Veterinary and Animal Husbandry Extension from Veterinary college Bidar in 2010. He worked as Veterinary Officer between 2010 and 2012. He was appointed as Assistant Professor at Veterinary College Hassan between 2012-2016. He served as Head of the Division of Veterinary and Animal Husbandry Extension at Veterinary College Gadag from 2016 to 2018. He is presently pursuing his Ph.D. from Indian Veterinary Research Institute, Bareilly, Uttar Pradesh, India on a paid deputation.

Dr. Sushant Handage's research interests include Impact assessment, advanced research methodologies, structural equation modeling, livestock marketing strategies, livelihood security, training assessment and evaluation in dairy/sheep/goat/swine/rabbit farming, scientific dairy management, improvised fodder production, and teaching model development.
