Simrat Kaur is a Pharmacist at TerryWhite Chemmart Pharmacy and Rockingham General Hospital, Perth, WA. She has also started working as a Poisons information specialist at Poison’s Information Centre at Sir Charles Gardiner Hospital, Perth, WA. She obtained her Bachelor of Pharmacy at Curtin University, Bentley, Perth, WA, and a Master in Public Health at The University of Western Australia, Perth, WA. She won the People’s Choice Award for the best oral presentation at the Public Health Postgraduate Research Symposium in 2016. She has also presented her research findings from her masters at the Telethon Kids Research Symposium.
Simrat Kaur’s interested fields of research are mental health, energy drinks, food environment, sexual health, epidemiology, and global health. Her present research was on the use of energy drinks and their impact on young adult's mental health.
