Dr. Ciro Visone is a Clinical Psychologist with the United States Army in the Department of Neuropsychology at the Landstuhl Regional Medical Center-Germany. He also serves as a Behavioral Health Officer with US Army Europe’s Combat Operational Stress Control Team. Also, he is an Adjunct Professor in the Department of Psychology at Northcentral University in Arizona. Dr. Visone holds a Doctorate of Psychology in Clinical Health Psychology from Alliant International University, Los Angeles, with primary training, education, and experiences in neuropsychological research and physical medicine and rehabilitation. Dr. Visone also holds a Master of Arts in Clinical Psychology, a Master of Science in Forensic Psychology, and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology, from California State University, Los Angeles. As a doctoral student, he was Founder and President of the Organization and Appreciation of Psychoneuroimmunology (ORAP). He is currently the Founder and President of NeuroScienFitic; a consulting firm for the treatment, rehabilitation, and education of brain-related injuries and diseases. Also, he serves as a Board Member for Brain Education Strategies and Technologies (BEST); a company involved in the development and application of neurorehabilitative apps designed for the reduction and improvement of cognitive difficulties. He is a member of the American Congress of Rehabilitation Medicine, the International Behavioral Neuroscience Society, the American Academy of Clinical Neuropsychology, the European Association of Neurology, and the American Psychology Association.
Dr. Visone’s primary interests in research include the neuropsychological assessment and rehabilitation of neurological injuries and degenerative diseases, nutritional psychiatry and human performance enhancement, sports neuropsychology and concussion rehabilitation, aerospace neuroscience and flight medicine, and the interplay of cardiovascular and endocrine factors on the nervous system health.
