Biography

Dr. Mir S. Adil is currently a Ph.D. Candidate at The University of Georgia. He belongs to the first batch of Pharm.D. in India where he scored a respectable aggregate in his academics and an exceptional grade of 5/5 in his hospital internship. He was honored with “Outstanding Student of the College” and “Best Research Contribution” awards. Further, he was appointed as the first Junior Editor of a scientific magazine entitled “Insight” because of a long list of publications to his name. After completing his graduate studies, he started working as an Associate Medical Writer for a renowned scientific company in Hyderabad, India. He then joined Apollo Health City as the Clinical Pharmacist and worked for two years before accepting the position of Clinical Pharmacologist (H.O.D. Clinical Pharmacy and Clinical Trials) at Aster Prime Hospital, Hyderabad. He has ample experience in training Clinical Pharmacists for prescription audits, clinical intervention, drug information services, and patient counseling. He is also a mentor for manuscript writing owing to a fascinating list of more than 40 publications to his name. His innovative approach towards his duties has landed him an opportunity to pursue a career in the field of research. He is presently researching the Clinical and Experimental Therapeutics division of the University of Georgia where he has received several awards including ‘Excellence in Literature Evaluation’. In addition to the research work, he also serves as Consulting Editor for Dove Medical press and Editorial Board Member for several reputed journals. Also, Google has created a knowledge panel in his name as ‘Mir S Adil’ and his publications on ResearchGate have gained around 10,000 reads.

Mir S. Adil has expertise in all fields of Pharmacy Practice that include Clinical Pharmacy, Medical Writing, Clinical Trials, and Research. When it comes to laboratory research, his area of interest includes vascular biology, pulmonary research, and immunotherapy.
