Dr. Suleiman Mshelia is a Public Health Physician based in Jos Nigeria. He currently works in the department of community medicine at the Jos University Teaching Hospital in Jos. Passionate about the health status of poor communities with a demonstrated history of working in resource-poor settings. Skilled in Qualitative Evidence Synthesis with its use in an in-depth understanding of the effectiveness of interventions or programs in Healthcare. He is a member of the International Society of Global Health, Edinburgh, United Kingdom, and currently holds the position of the Assistant Secretary-General of Chevening Alumni Association of Nigeria. He is active in research and health consulting.
Dr. Suleiman Mshelia area of interests include public health and community medicine in Low- and Middle-Income Countries with a special interest in Maternal and Child Health in resource-poor settings. Particular research methodology interests are Qualitative Evidence synthesis, qualitative research, and mixed methods studies.
