Dr. Saroj Kumar Ghosh is an Assistant Professor in Zoology of Bejoy Narayan Mahavidyalaya, Itachuna, Hooghly-712147, West Bengal, INDIA. He is Graduate in Zoology Honours from The University of Burdwan in 2004. He did a Master’s in Zoology, M.Phil. in Zoology and Ph.D. in Zoology from The University of Burdwan. Till date, Dr. Ghosh has published forty-six Original Research Articles in reputed journals and three Book Chapters contributed as author/co-author. He serves as Editorial Board member and Reviewer of several National and International Scientific Journals.

Dr. Saroj Kumar Ghosh's research interests include Histomorphology, Histophysiology, Histochemistry, and Ultrastructural studies of different organs of fish.
