Dr. Ruchir Shah is an Assistant Professor in the Neurology department at Elranger Health System, University of TN, Chattanooga, USA. He obtained Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery from M.P.Shah Medical College, Jamnagar, India followed by completed Neurology residency from Cooper University Hospital, Camden, USA, and Vascular Neurology fellowship at Duke University, Durham, USA. Dr.Shah has been practicing as Vascular Neurologist at Erlanger Hospital/Southeast regional stroke center since 2016 and has been a member of the American Academy of Neurology (AAN), American Heart Association/American Stroke Association (AHA/ASA). He has vast experience of being principal and sub investigators in multiple international clinical trials.
Dr. Shah is interested in research related to stroke in young population, stroke related to patent foramen oval, neuroprotective agents in acute ischemic stroke, novel antiplatelets and anticoagulants for prevention of ischemic stroke.
