Dr. Mohanned Alhussien completed a Ph.D. program from the Department of Animal Physiology at the National Dairy Research Institute, Karnal, India. Currently working as Assistant Professor in Animal Production Division, Agricultural College, Aleppo University, Aleppo, Syrian Arab Republic. His research focuses on the role played by the innate and acquired immune system during various physiological and physio-pathological conditions. He has studied in depth the function and expression of the first line of cellular defense, i.e., neutrophil under both normal and inflammatory conditions. Also, studying the signaling pathways of various hormones and cytokines in immune cells. He has around 30 International publications as a first/last author in various prestigious Journals of this field. He currently serves on the editorial boards of several academic journals and as a potential reviewer for many reputed journals.
Dr. Mohanned Alhussien's research interests include Physiology, Endocrinology, Immunology, Innate Immunity, stress hormones, endocrine regulation of parturition, lactation, embryo implantation, and pregnancy.
