David Chibuike Ikwuka a lecturer in the Department of Human Physiology, at Nnamdi Azikiwe University Nnewi, Nigeria. He obtained a Bachelor of Science in Human Physiology at Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Nigeria, and a Master of Science in Physiology at the University of Nigeria, Enugu, Nigeria. He is currently rounding up a Ph.D. in Physiology at the University of Nigeria Enugu, Nigeria. Member of several professional bodies. He is currently listed as a consultant to the Mobile Paramedic Initiative of Nigeria, member Anambra State Ministry of Health COVID-19 team, a reviewer for a few journals, and also a development partner consultant for National orthopaedic hospital Enugu, Nigeria. Besides practice and training, he is active in research and scientific publication.
David Chibuike Ikwuka is interested in allergy & immunology, emergency medicine, endocrinology, and medical education. His present research focuses on investigating the effect of intermittent fasting on haematological and immunological indices and its interplay with other systems of the human body.
