Dr. Hassan Faleeh Farhan Al-Sultani, a lecturer at the Department of Paediatric, orthodontics, and preventive dentistry (P.O.P.), faculty of Dentistry, University of Babylon. High Diploma Degree (HDD) in Preventive Dentistry including dental public health from Baghdad University- College of Dentistry, 2005. Master Degree in Preventive Dentistry (MSc. Preventive dentistry) from Baghdad University- College of Dentistry, 2009. PhD in preventive dentistry from Newcastle University-School of dental sciences, 2018. Assistant Head of the department of P.O.P. Faculty of Dentistry, University of Babylon, 2012- 2013. Assistant dean for scientific affairs 2019-2020. Dean of faculty of dentistry 2019-2020.
Previous research areas include Preventive Dentistry, Paediatric Dentistry, and Dental Public health including dental trauma and oral health status among children. Recently, my interest is to investigate the impact of dental prostheses on eating-related quality of life using qualitative methods and questionnaires (including questionnaire development). I have published many papers in reputed international and national journals. I am participating in different qualitative and quantitative research with researchers at Newcastle University, UK, and University of the Adelaide, Australia. I attended different training courses in the UK regarding Clinical Trials Regulations, Good Clinical Practice, consent training appropriate to clinical and non-clinical research, in addition to qualitative training courses.
