Dr. Prasana Kumar Rath is presently working as Assistant Professor in the Department of Veterinary Pathology, College of Veterinary Science & Animal Husbandry, Odisha University of Agriculture & Technology, Bhubaneswar, Odisha, India. He was awarded University Gold Medal in Veterinary Pathology for the year 2012. He was provisionally selected for “INSPIRE Fellowship”, Govt. of India. Dr. Rath published more than 30 articles in various journals with National and International repute. Dr. Rath has guided more than 10 students as a major adviser and minor adviser. Besides he was awarded Best Oral as well as Best Poster award in various national seminars and symposiums. Dr. Rath edited more than four compendiums and published one book with ISBN. Besides, He worked as Deputy Officer-in-Charge of PG & Ph.D. Examination cell, College of Veterinary Science & Animal Husbandry, OUAT for more than two years.

Dr. Prasana Kumar Rath's research interests include Veterinary Pathology; Histopathology; Clinical Pathology, Postmortem: Immunohistochemistry; Pathology of Infectious disease; Small ruminant pathology; Canine diseases; Mastitis.
