Dr. Leone is a research assistant at the Department of Human Neuroscience at Sapienza University in Rome. She obtained a Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery at Sapienza University, Rome. She earned a Ph.D. in Clinical Neurophysiology at Sapienza University, Rome. Member of the International Association for the study of Pain (IASP). Member of the Neuropathic Pain special interest group (NeuPSIG). Member of the Italian Society of Neurology (SIN). Member of the Italian Society of Clinical Neurophysiology (SINC).
Dr. Caterina Maria Leone's interested fields of research are Pain, Neuropathic Pain, and Peripheral Neuropathies. Her present research focuses on searching for the pathophysiological mechanisms behind neuropathic pain and pain modulation.
