Dr. Casiglia has been working at Valiant Clinic Dubai for the past year and in the process of moving to Kings College Hospital Dubai previously at the American Hospital Dubai for about 5 year as Consultant in Diabetes and Endocrinology. She has developed an extensive experience in diabetes care in the past 25 years. Particularly interested in education and antenatal care, she has had a role as lead Consultant in diabetes for the previous 8 year in UK where she has promoted integrated and patient centered care. She has developed more lately , great interest in the management of thyroid disease and in particular thyroid nodules and cancer. Dr. Donatella Casiglia completed her basic medical training at the University of Palermo, Italy before completing her Italian Board Certification in Endocrinology and Diabetes.

Dr. Casiglia is interested in innovative digital health system for diabetes care. For The past 8 year she have been working as clinical advisor for to development of digital integrated system for the management of diabetes, in particular patient in the gulf region.
