Dr. Ionel BONDOC is an Associate Professor in the Public Health Department at the University of Agricultural Sciences and Veterinary Medicine Iasi. He obtained a Bachelor Degree in Veterinary Medicine. He earned the Ph.D. in Technology and Veterinary Sanitary Expertise at the University of Agricultural Sciences and Veterinary Medicine Iasi. He is the author of 9 books, of which three indexed in International Databases. He is member of national, European and international professional associations and societies: International Association for Food Protection (IAFP); Institute of Food Technologists (IFT); Food and Drug Law Institute (FDLI); World Education Research Association (WERA); Royal Society of Chemistry (RSC); Royal Society for Public Health (RSPH). He is awarded in 2015, 2016, 2018, and 2019 by EUROINVENT and PUBLONS. Work experience (accumulated service in the educational system and research): 27 years. Published and communicated works: 107. Scientific papers indexed in International Databases 53, of which 27 as single author, first author or scientific coordinator. Assoc. Prof. Ionel BONDOC is interested in the following fields of research: Food Quality, Food Safety, Food Technology, Food Microbiology, Food Law, Nutrition, Zoonoses, Pathogens, Public Health. His present studies focus on the following fields: food integrity, pathogens implicated in foodborne diseases, main types of contamination of food, food spoilage, food safety law, food analysis, higher education, and continuing education in the food science field.
