I am Stroke neurologist at King Fahd Specialist Hospital, in Saudi Arabia, I completed my medical degree (with distinction) in 2008 from King Faisal University, Dammam, I did my neurology residency at King Fahd specialist hospital at Dammam, Saudi Arabia, I completed my neurovascular fellowship at the university of Toronto, University health network, Canada, I worked at regional stroke center, where evaluating acute stroke patients, for acute thrombolysis and referral for endovascular therapy, as well as management of intracerebral hemorrhage, I also participated in the stroke prevention clinic, AVM and aneurysm clinic and in the rehabilitation setting, the center I worked in is part of major international stroke trials (ESCAPE-NA1, POINT, TEMPO-2, SWIFT-DIRECT), my latest scholarly activity was an oral abstract accepted by World Stroke Congress.
My primary research interest focus on stroke in cancer patients as well as stroke in young, where I am working on understanding the mechanism of stroke for this particular population, and individualizing a clinical approach based on the latest evidence.
