Dr. Diriba Dereje has been a Laboratory assistant, Assistant Lecturer, and Public Health officer. Currently he is a Lecturer and research advisor of Medical physiology at Jimma University School of Medical sciences, Department of Biomedical sciences, Oromia, Ethiopia. Diriba Dereje was earned BSc degree in Public Health from Jimma University 2014 GC. Following that he has been working in different positions and awarded MSc in Medical Physiology from Jimma University in 2018 GC. He has different certificates from variety of organizations. He has written different articles, powerpoint presentation, and scientific notes. Diriba prepared different seminars on Such as role of Orexins, pathophysiology of irisin, and mechanism of antidiabetic activity of plant extacts, animal model selection for diabetic research. His current research was on effect of urine albumin on metabolic, cardiac and respiratory function among different adult patients.
Dr. Diriba Dereje interested in any research related to Diabetes Mellitus. Additionally, heartily interested in identifying effect of different Phytochemicals and Zoochemicals on Metabolic and Endocrine system.
