Dr. Bini K John, PhD, MSN, CMSRN, RN is a Clinical Assistant Professor at Stony Brook University’s School of Nursing. Dr. John began her clinical and teaching career in India since 1998 and USA 2004 as registered nurse, lecturer, nurse supervisor, clinical nurse specialist, and nurse administrator. She currently teaches in the graduate studies department in both the live and online class environments. She is an active member of Academic Technology, Admission and Academic Standards, and Faculty Assembly of the School of Nursing in Stony Brook School of Nursing. She is also a member of Academy of Medical Surgical Nurse (AMSN) and editorial member for Nursing Practice and Health Care Research and Scholarship Boffin Access Ltd. UK. Her doctoral research involved the relationship between patient satisfaction and nursing quality care indicators in medical surgical telemetry units. Dr. John also focused on research that encompasses the husband’s support and its effect on outcome of pregnancy among postnatal mothers in the Christian Medical College and Hospital in India.
