Dr. Safwan Mohammed received his B. Sc (Agricultural Engineering, Hons, Class one) and his first M. Sc. (Agricultural Engineering, Distinction) from Department of soil science, Faculty of Agriculture, University of Damascus (Syria). While his second M. Sc. (Agricultural Engineering, Distinction) from Department of soil science, Faculty of Agriculture, University of Tishreen (Syria). Currently, he is a PhD candidate at Faculty of Agricultural and Food Sciences and Environmental Management- Institute of Land Use, Technology and Regional Development- University of Debrecen (Hungary) on "Carbon dioxide emission and its consequences in the agricultural sector". He was involved from 2005 in a several programs and projects of applied research in the Middle East (Syria) on the topics of Soil science, water management, Land degradation, and Climate change.
Dr. Safwan Mohammed main interest is about GHG emission and the interaction between CO2 and planet growth. Also, he devoted to work in climate change especially how climate will lead to conflicts (Syria as an example).
