Dr. Igor N Prisukha Education and career path is Tyumen State Medical Institute, Paediatric faculty 1981-1987. Internship in Paediatric Surgery 1987-1988 at the Regional Children's Hospital named after the Red Cross (Kurgan). After completing the internship, worked as a paediatric surgeon in the Shadrinsk Central City Hospital (Kurgan Region). In 1991-1992, worked as a paediatric surgeon in department of the thoracal surgery at the Regional Children's Clinical Hospital (Yekaterinburg). In 1992-1994 was training in clinical residency of Paediatric Surgery of the Ural State Medical Academy (Ekaterinburg). In 1994-1995 was as an assistant of Professor of the Ural State Medical Academy (Yekaterinburg) work on the scientific topic: "Organ-preserving interventions for closed trauma of the abdomen in children", in the outline of which 3 articles were published. For more than 12 years, I have worked as a paediatric surgeon in the department of surgery in the Central City Hospital in Nefteyugansk (Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Area), where I have provided planned and urgent surgical care to patients. Repeatedly upgraded qualifications of Paediatric Surgery, North-West State Medical University named after II Mechnikov, Ministry of Health of the Russian Federation (St. Petersburg). Post-graduate education at Surgut State University 2015-2019. From 2008 up to the present – I am a head of the department of neonatal surgery in Surgut Clinical Perinatal Centre.
Dr. Igor N Prisukha Research Interests include neonatal surgery, prophylaxis and surgical treatment of abdominal catastrophies in children with extremely low birth weight, creating conditions for enteral nutrition in the complex of nursing of immature newborns.
