Dr. Thomas Chatzintounas graduated from the Medical School of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (AUTH) & Hellenic Corps Officers Military Academy in 1987. He is Senior Consultant Neurologist since 1994 after receiving education at the AHEPA Hospital, B’ Department of Neurology of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. He became a Doctor of Philosophy - PhD focused in Neurology in the Department of Medicine of the Democritus University of Thrace on July 10, 2007, on the statement: ¨Ultrasound characteristics of carotid artery disease in ishaemic stroke¨. He has been a director for years in Neurologic clinic of 492 General Military Hospital & 424 General Military Training Hospital, teaching also Neurology for postgraduate students. He worked as Postdoctoral fellow in A’ Department of Neurology, Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. He is Medical writer – Researcher and works as a Neurologist at private practice. Also he is member of the editorial board in Medical journals.
