I, Raji Kanakkaparambil, have completed my Bachelorís degree in Veterinary and Animal Sciences from Kerala Agricultural University with First Rank. I was awarded Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR) Junior Fellowship for pursuing Masterís degree in Animal Physiology and completed it in the year 1997 with first position. I pursued PhD from University of Nottingham, UK with Overseas Research Students award and Full tuition fee scholarship from University of Nottingham. During my PhD studies, I have been awarded with British Federation of Women graduates (BFWG) grant for final year of PhD. I have been awarded with ICAR funding to get trained on stem cell biology from A*STAR Singapore. I have also been awarded with TŁbitak Visiting Scientist Fellowship from Turkish Government to visit Central Livestock Research Institute, Turkey. I procured Endeavour Research Fellowship from Australian Government for pursuing Post- Doctorate from University of New South Wales, Sydney, Australia in the year 2016. I started my career as Veterinary Surgeon in Animal Husbandry Department of Kerala, India and later started working in Kerala Agricultural University as Assistant Professor. In the year 2010, I started my career as Assistant Professor in Department of Veterinary Physiology in Kerala Veterinary and Animal Sciences University, India.
Dr. Raji Kanakkaparambil teaching interests include Physiology and Molecular Biology and research interests include Molecular Reproductive Physiology and Stem Cell Biology.
