Dr. Md. Delwer Hossain Hawlader, PhD is a medical scientific professional with having 18 years of professional experience, which included more than 12 years experiences in public health research and project management and 4 years’ experience of teaching in public health. Currently he has been working as Visiting Associate Professor in Hiroshima University, Japan and Assistant Professor in the Dept. of Public Health at North South University (NSU). Dr. Delwer has achieved PhD degree from University of Tsukuba, Japan in 2014. Prior to this, he has acquired Masters in Public Health (MPH) from Karolinska Institute, Sweden in 2006 and MBBS (equivalent of MD) from Sir Salimullah Medical College, Dhaka University in 1999. During his research period, Dr. Delwer had worked in International Center for Diarrhoeal Diseases Research, Bangladesh (icddr,b). His research project was mostly based on international collaboration with world renowned universities and funded by different donor agencies. His research articles have been published in reputed international peer reviewed journals and some local journals. Moreover, he is reviewer as well as editorial board member of some reputed international peer reviewed journals.
Dr. Delwer’s research interest is maternal and child health, nutrition, infectious disease and chronic disease research.
